Rabbi Phil Karesh
Founder & President
Rabbi Phil Karesh is the owner and President of the Center for Circumcision. Starting in 2011, Rabbi Karesh saw a demand for adult circumcision and built a business to meet the needs of the patients – all with exceptional Board Certified Urologists and with a cost effective approach. With an aspiration for excellence in circumcision and exceptional customer care, his company has been serving the needs of patients – infants and adults alike – since 2011.
Rabbi Karesh completed a Bachelors in Biology from Yeshiva University in New York, a Masters in Education from Loyola University Chicago, Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshiva University in Israel and an extensive training program for neonatal circumcision. Rabbi Karesh is a prominent Mohel – the Hebrew name for the one who performs ritual circumcision – throughout the Chicagoland community. He has performed thousands of procedures since the start of his company.
In addition to performing circumcisions, Rabbi Karesh is involved in communal work on the professional level in Jewish education, both formal and informal. He speaks on Jewish law, Jewish thought, marriage, and parenting. Rabbi Karesh, along with his wife and children, live in Chicago.

Director of Operations
Mia Lawrence serves as Director of Operations at the Center for Circumcision, where she brings over 20 years of experience leading complex initiatives and elevating operational performance. A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and accomplished business leader, she has built a career across multiple industries, earning a reputation for fostering strong relationships and delivering measurable results.
Mia is recognized for her ability to align people, processes, and strategy, and is committed to helping teams navigate challenges and achieve sustainable success. At her core, Mia is driven by a deep commitment to service. Her lifelong compassion for animal welfare reflects a broader dedication to improving the lives of others. She believes success is defined by the impact you leave behind and the difference you make every day.

With over 17 years of experience in customer relations, she demonstrates a high level of proficiency in managing sensitive patient inquiries while upholding stringent data privacy standards. Through precise, professional communication and disciplined pre-consultation coordination, Priscilla ensures patients receive accurate information and a consistently high standard of service from initial contact onward.
